His work ranges from packaging to advertising and editorial design to stage sets, however his powerful posters are most well known and recognisable. Shiva's innovative graphic design style is the result of Iran's cultural traditions; especially the colour palette he uses, his interpretation of the traditional Arabic calligraphy.

Interview published in April 2007 in Grafik Tasarim Magazine Quanto project was an international project and competition about prostitution, sex slavery and abuse. A group of people active in the graphic’s journalism and cultural field from Italy organised it in order to raise awareness. The poster i designed for this competition was one of the 36 posters selected by the jury out of 400 entries to exhibit in Venice and publish in the event catalogue.
